The Water Supply Project in the Village of Amioun, Koura Area was implemented under the supervision of the Ministry of Energy and Water to improve the reliability, efficiency, and coverage of potable water services throughout the Koura District in North Lebanon. The project formed part of Lebanon's ongoing efforts to modernize water infrastructure and enhance access to sustainable drinking water services for local communities. The project comprised the construction and commissioning of approximately 45 km of water distribution networks utilizing ductile iron (DI) and high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipelines ranging from DN350 to DN90. The scope of works included excavation, pipe installation, testing, commissioning, house connections, valve chambers, and associated network appurtenances required for the efficient operation of the distribution system. The works were designed to improve network performance, reduce water losses, enhance service reliability, and expand water supply coverage across the project area. Homan Engineering Company successfully executed this important water infrastructure project, demonstrating its expertise in water distribution systems, pipeline installation, network commissioning, and hydraulic infrastructure. The completed works contributed to improving potable water service delivery and strengthening the long-term sustainability of water supply services throughout the Koura region.
